Educational Scholarships

At the TEAM Foundation, our scholarship program is designed to support Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students who are not only dedicated to academic excellence, but who also demonstrate a genuine commitment to service, mentorship, and improving access to care within their communities.
The application process begins with the completion of an online application form, where students will provide background information, academic history, and insight into their professional goals. Applicants will also be asked to submit a personal statement that reflects their passion for physical therapy, their interest in serving underserved populations, and how they plan to use their education to make a meaningful impact.
In addition to the written application, students may be asked to provide letters of recommendation from professors, clinical instructors, or mentors who can speak to their character, work ethic, and potential as a future clinician. These perspectives help us better understand each applicant beyond their academic achievements.
Our selection process is holistic. While strong academic performance is important, we place significant value on applicants who demonstrate compassion, leadership, and a clear alignment with our mission. We are especially interested in students who have shown initiative in community service, mentorship, or outreach, and who are motivated to give back to populations with limited access to care.
Finalists may be invited to participate in a brief interview, allowing us to further connect with applicants and learn more about their goals and experiences.
Scholarship recipients are selected based on their overall alignment with the TEAM Foundation’s mission—to bridge the gap between education and access to care. We are proud to invest in students who are not only striving to become excellent clinicians, but who are also committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of others.
